There are so many religions out there. Who is right? It doesn't matter. Just be good, be kind, and think free. Become a better person. Personally, I believe there is a possibility that we keep being reborn until we learn our lessons so we can ascend or something. I don't believe in hell. Plain and simple. How is someone suppose to grow with only a few human years to experience. I don't believe in a God that intervenes or is smiteful, just as a metaphor for the big bang or the unexplainable.

I was raised Catholic but still can't think that way. My uncle is a preacher too lol. I'm Agnostic cuz although I don't support religious claims of "God" I have to say, I don't know. It's IMPOSSIBLE to know what the beginning was. A book written so long ago, back around the mytholigical days does not serve as proof. The Bible,I see it more as a guide not an answer.
I'm spiritual tho."We are not humans having a spiritual experience but spirits having a human experience." I understand this..

So so so... because I dont believe in god, devil, hell and heaven and I don't really want to believe in them I'm ganna be alone for ever and ever?

wrong. try reading your bible before you comment, instead of making up all this nonsense. hell is a place of eternal torment. the people who translated the king james bible were exceedingly more learned than you are, and very painstaking in their translation.

Hi Brother, That was a very insightful take on it. I don't know I agree it's hard to say but I feel that if that is hell for non believers then it certainly would be more merciful then others see. I am a person of Christian faith - wn't say type because I don't think it matters, Yet I think some could argue agianst that thought of hell. Like maybe then that means their not really alone their with other lost soles. Or what would not being with God actually mean sitting in darkness forever? Keepon

I understand your logic, and you deffinately make more sense than other Christians, and are less confrontational. Let's say that you are correct in your beleifs, and that when I die, being an Atheist, I will go to Hell because that is the path that I have chosen. If this is correct, why should a decent and caring person be punished for their actions equally alongside a muderer or pedophile that may or may not have been a Christian? Just a question I would like to have answered.

@AlexKeBro But then again, the only way to heaven is through Jesus, does it not say that? So if you don't believe Jesus is the sun of God...

You said exactly what was going through my mind as i watched that video only I couldn't have said it as well. Thank you for posting! =)

@AlexKeBro that's exactly what i try to explain to my friends but they're all "Nahhh if you dont believe in God then you go to Hell and that's that."
im a Christian and I believe that as long as you live a good life you'll have a good afterlife whether that's Heaven or not.
As a non-Christian (I'm Buddhist) I look at like this: If there is in fact a God, and I live a great life, I doubt he would send me to hell. Same goes for any religion. As long as you are an overall good person, you should be given a good afterlife. And if I'm wrong about that, I hope there isn't a god. I hate fire, I can't live in hell! :)

C.S. Lewis would be a great author for you to look into. He said that even if you do not worship the same god as someone else, as long as you worship the same concept, you are worshipping god.
After all, most religions do have the same roots. So worshiping one god is just as good, as long as your intentions are pure.

A second thought is what mother Theresa said. She said All is God — Buddhists, Hindus, Christians, etc., all have access to the same God.
Considering that she was Catholic, and most people would say that Catholics are among the least accepting religions around, I think that means something. God is god, what you call him is irrelevant.

Guess you missed the bit about everyone being resurrected - bodily- and then cast into the lake of fire where there is no end to the torment. BTW- nothing is impossible for God.

Guess you missed the part where I said it wasn't western literature.
