The Boarder is the first movie ever made that tackles - heads on! - the devastating impact Reactive Attachment Disorder (RAD) has on us all. At their best, individuals with RAD represent the embryonic stages of an antisocial personality, at their worst they are full-blown psychopaths consumed by the search for their next victim. RAD is not a rare phenomenon and is primarily preventable through early identification. "Currently mental health professionals believe that as many as 95% of the incarcerated adults in the U.S. now may have some form of attachment disorder" said Writer Jane E. Ryan.

Directed by Jolene Adams and Jane, The Boarder is a thrilling coming of age movie. The plot revolves around the sobering story of the Williams family and their process of coping with an adopted child suffering from RAD. Starring Dee Wallace (E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial, Cujo, Critters), the rising star Andy Scott Harris, Leslie Stevens and Carlton Wilborn, this movie uses a truly therapeutic institution where children with RAD are being successfully treated in real life.

Jane wrote the award-winning screenplay based on her bestselling book, "Broken Spirits Lost Souls" and her own experiences with adopted children with RAD and those of several families who, like Jane, believed they could simply love the problem away. Jane stated, "I believe The Boarder is a God-given and God driven project. Alone, we can only scratch the surface; together we can make a real difference in the lives of attachment-disturbed children and their families."

The Boarder currently has a fundraising campaign on Kickstarter to provide funds to finish post-production services. Visit: http://tinyurl.com/theboarder.
