Meanwhile, even after the resignation of Justice Aaron Ringera as the head of the Kenya Anti-Corruption Commission, it appears the commission is not yet out of the woods. A new bill by Garsen MP Danson Mungatana which seeks to disband the commission as currently constituted has already been published and should be debated when the house resumes next month. According to Mungatana, the anti-graft body has not been effective and it should therefore be placed under the office of the Attorney General. Francis Gachuri reports.
