my final rendition of Pixar / Disney latest film WALL-E -- a super compact (almost) full featured NXT wall-e

4 PF motors, 1 hiTechnic IR link, 1 NXT, 3 NXT motors, 1 sound sensor and 1 USsensor
all controlled for now via a simple NXT-G linear demo program.

Please message me or comment for any improvement - question - or simply to share your excitement LOL -- seriously had some fun doing this one,,, and lots of story to tell to -- stay tuned for an awesome WALL-E crash / destroid video i will compile soon .

thanks for watching

  • this really is awesome! are you controlling it with a remote or is it going all by itself? im not sure cause i cant get my NXT creations to work. you should use black pieces at the eyes in instead of white though.

  • Thanks, the remote works for the Tracks and lifting arms BUT using the IRLink form HiTechnics the Power Function motors are being controlled via the NXT (i.e. programmed using NXT-G) and so the robot is autonomous. Also about the eyes -- i didn,t have black parts -- so if you copy mine... make it better :D

  • Dude r u controlling dat with a remote or is it going by itself???

And...Where did u get it and how much...??

  • This is my design -- It is autonomous

  • Excellent work -- a really good replica
