@MudHut67 however she does not serve in 3 Cdo brigade after the dubious nature of her passing cse (allowed more attempts than several men on cse this from instructor i know on the cse). Fair point anyway mudhut

@MudHut67 ok mate got you. I actually agree with you there in respect to average soldier, worked with both (served in brit army) and you are very true in what you say. I put that down to size of the US forces as there is less scope t be elite in view of number of troops. I mean you could never compare the USMC with the royal marines. Example been how many women serve in USMC as Marines and how many female Royal Marines are there. No female royal marines (one girl passed all arms commando)

Yeah I was referring more to the yanks, I have noticed that your average quality of solider is much higher in the UK forces than the American forces, or is that just me?

@MudHut67 not sure the british are covering stuff up far from it. I think many in public today feel they should know every think the forces are upto but fact is to do that endangers peoples lives. On war crimes front Britain has a good recent track record and those that have committed crimes have faced justice.

That isn't what I am talking about it, I am talking about covering up illegal operations or war crimes. That "collateral murder" video is a good example, stuff like that needs to be out in the public domain

@MudHut67 there is no way that you a member of the public can asses and disect military operations. Leave it to experts, how is a civilian going to be able to properly address the operations of special forces etc ?? they can't thats why its left to experts and thats why this country has some of the best and toughest elite troops in world including SAS,SBS,Paras and Marines.
