Great Tune! This guy was a Real to Reel RECORDING artist!....Kinda Zappa-ish on the vocal approach, I like it. Les Paul's God-son. I'm sure Les was always willing to give him advise and technique on multi-track recording. Steve's recordings some of those rare 3-D like soundscapers with dimesion in the recorded sound.

@ogrebattle22763 Those two albums stand out to me for two reasons: a.) there's not a song on either that I'm even tempted to skip past, and b.) they were both ridiculously hard for me to acquire on CD until Amazon came along. But I visited many a record store that had the complete Eagles back catalog and only SMB Greatest Hits. Maybe that's over now. I hope so.

I don't get how you are saying that those two albums surprisingly aren't as popular as Book Of Dreams... I really don't understand that at all... but hey if you like those albums then good for you...

@ogrebattle22763 Yeah, but that's true of almost every SMB album, isn't it? The fact that Brave New World and Italian X-Rays aren't as popular as Book of Dreams continues to grate on my nerves.
