I do know at the time i was born there was only one person in MI where i live where i had only one doctor.. i could actually let you talk to my mom, who did all the research when i was the same age as your daughter is now.. ill email you her info if you would like! let me know!

@aimke1 i use make up normally now, but if i don't you can see it on my cheek..its not very dark it just looked like got slapped in the face hah.. i got my first treatment at 11 months old and have continued ever since !

Im 16 and I have a port wine stain on the side of my face and i really want to remove it. How many laser treatments do you have to do? I thought you would only have to do one and then its gone but it seems like you did alot. Im so confused. and how much would it cost approx. to do a laser treatment?

@MrBrownboy8 Honestly you'll have to get with a doctor, i'm sure there are some cases where you only have to get it once or twice, but i'm not quite sure.. the cost depends on your insurance, so i am also not sure about that.. when i go in november i can ask some of these questions for you tho!!

I have one on my cheek and neck. I love it though. It makes me unique. I used to go to Shriner's Hospital for Children (which is completely free for patients under 18) sense I was three up until last month. Lasers hasn't really helped me the past couple of years so I quit and I may start back up sometime, it just depends on what I want to do. Mine used to be reeallyyy dark purple now its light red. Its amazing seeing other people with the same thing as me. I don't meet many people with it.

i just got a laser treatment the other day does urs weep or bleed at all while healing? I was just wondering ive had like 8 so far and was just bored surfing for people going threw same thing as i heal.

Thanks a lot for your information. I am 27 year old male having Port Wine Stain in my face. Just two days back I had undergo with the laser treatment for this. After treatment I can see lots of black dots in my face in treated area. I am very afraid with this. Could you please let me know this black spots are temporary are it will be permanent, if it is repertory then how many days will required these clear the spots.

@aimke1 hey ik ben ben ook van belgië :D ik ben 16 jaar en heb een kleine wijnvlek onder mijn linkeroog. ik heb nog maar 5 behandelingen gehad versprijd over anderhalf jaar. Mijn vlek is al een beetje verlicht , maar het is nog steeds te zien... ik ga altijd bij dokter Boyden in Hasselt. als je vragen hebt stel ze maar :)
