Depending on what wetsuit you are using. I would start with 6 lbs. Weigh yourself so you are neutrally bouyant at around 10ft in your case. For me I weigh myself neutral at around 25ft, but my depths are ranging from 60-100+ ft. Another trick you can do is take half breaths when you are shallow but don't exert or chase fish down under water. You'll burn that oxygen out quick. Dive safe!

When ignorance gets started it knows no bounds. Humans have been hunters for a million years and spearfishing is one of today's last true hunts. If you want to be mad at someone look up fishermen who use longlines or "kid burns ants with magnifying glass". We dont hunt simply for malicious fun. We eat what we catch and use a great deal of selection in our kills. I was raised near the ocean and spearos are some of the most respectful and wildlife congisent people i know.
