  • NX is a disgrace to the railway and I find their livery tasteless and garish. Do we really want these wonderful trains to look their grotty old coaches?...its just insulting. Will be glad to see the back of them. I'm sure hornby won't bother.

  • all u need now is some overhead wires and u will right on the money.Great layout

  • @soundseeker63 I like the new Silver East Coast Livery. Quite smart I think.

  • I'm still amazed that the DfT wants to replace these trains with EMUs. This 20 year old stock rivals any brand new EMU I've ridden. Even the express class 390 isn't as comfortable. The standard class on these trains is more comfortable than first class on a pendolino.

  • @somerandomalex thats their nickname, for being able to go at 225kmh, just with a hst, class 43 nickname 125 for being able to go at 125mph

  • i thought is was called a class 225

  • That GNER train is fantastic, how big is your layout in feet?

  • all you need is a mini-bar

  • Traction tyres and aditional weights maybe?

  • Hi thanks for that replay could u tell me wot new motor u put in and could i get hold of one.
