Yes, the bass on Columbia Viva-Tonals is excellent. I think they recorded with extra bass to compensate for the Via-Tonal phonograph's lack of bass response.

Thanks for this. I've been waiting for over 30 years to hear this. I once had this record in the 1970s and loved it. I dont know what happened to it. Now I can enjoy it again!
