  • ron paul all the way.

  • You don't really know what you're talking about. Neoliberal? Wikipedia says our entire miltary budget for 2007 is $439.3 billion. Our total federal budget for 2007 is about $2.90 trillion. It comes out to be only 15% of our total budget. And these numbers aren't including entitlement programs and debts of the federal government.

  • well spoken, my friend, Fred is my choice as well. this is a time to take a "stand" and Fred is the only candidate with a pair to stand on. all the other Republicans wear skirts, as do the Dems, 'cept for Hillary, and we don't need 4-8 more years of Hill-Billy!!!

  • Right on, im 11 and I would love for him to be pres

  • I think I found a good channel here...BTW in your videos you look a little like Art Bell when he was on Coast-to-Coast AM.

  • Thompson is raking in donations. Please add YOURS to it, today! FRED08(dot)com

Huckabee is dangerous and would destroy the Republican party as we've known it to be....he's been weighed, measured, tested and found wanting!

  • We can preserve economic interests without engaging in political negotiations. Ronald Reagan had troop levels higher, but he was not as much of an interventionalist than Bush. The wars he did wage, however, in Nicaragua was not necessary. We had no business in eliminating communist-style governments. Preventing the spread of communism is not a conservative position; conservatives just decided to adopt it because it was good for the corporations.

  • It IS about negotiations. We have economic interests in an increasingly shrinking globe. Besides, Ron Reagan had troop levels much higher than we do now, are you saying he wasn't conservative? What was the cold war? It was the conservative possition to not let communism expand. This doesn't mean we flush money down the drain, but it does mean we protect our interests.

  • Ron Paul is still my first choice but I was really impressed by Thompson at the SC debate. I don't agree with him on foreign policy but he may be the best hope we've got at keeping an open borders liberal like McCain or Huckabee out of the White House. Plus, he seems to be the only "top tier" candidate with any depth or understanding of important concepts like federalism.

  • Plus, we are going broke in this country in large part because of our military miliary empire overseas. I find it quite ironic that you don't trus the government for our retirements, but you trust the government to conduct our foreign policy wisely. Do you realize the billions of dollars we can save if we close down most of our military bases overseas?
