  • Poorly. It operated on the mainline from Chicago to Crestline, Ohio, and didn't venture further east.

  • There was a grand total of ONE of these built. It was an operational failure and was scrapped by Pennsy themselves.

  • Both the S1 and T1 have an articulated front set of drivers (unlike the prototype) so they can make it through the tight 3-rail curves.

  • These are all O-gauge (1:48) electric trains.

  • Such a beautiful engine, I love the 6100!

  • @ItalianBlackheart123 Over 125 mph rather. The engine was designed for speed. "Small cylinders", big drivers and grate area.

  • its not fair that o gauge gets every locomotive and there are none in ho scale and why are all the steam locos made out of good metal

  • Love that whistle!

  • I had one of these in "N"gauge , made in Korea , with every rivet present. What a wonderful loco, and what a fabulous model. Model Railways , "the greatest hobby ever"

  • do you know anywhere where i can get that model in HO scale

  • que maravillosos trenes tienes, las locomotoras estan bellisimas, felicidades por tu material!!

  • I heard this train can reach speeds over 100mph.Is it true?

  • Friggin Cool-Lookin' though .... maybe they should have tried harder. Thanks for posting. If anyone knows where I might find a model of this, I hope you'll let me know.

  • are you running atlas 63 in curves
