It seems that Joseph Campbell was influenced by the works of Carl Jung on the collective subconsciousness.

@PhilosophersNotes Eh, this power of positive thinking trned isn't showing a disconnect between reality and internal reality for me. It's easy to be optimistic for a more subtle result and stop perfectionism, but some people use it to ignore potentially large pitfalls.
