Morrissey really doesn't whine a lot. He has a couple of truly sad songs: Seasick, I'd Love To, Asleep, Back To The Old House..... Most of his songs are witty, tongue-in-cheek and funny while dealing with relevant issues. I understand why people don't listen to Morrissey if they don't understand his humour.

I either end up laughing on the floor or wishing he was able to hear me saying "stop whining about really vague or over-specific things"

If I could turn off my ability to understand English I would have every Smiths album.
