i was poking fun at the fact that apex seals are a major wearing component in a rotary engine. i couldnt care any less about the aspirations of the engine. i was really making a humerous comparison to a more common type of engine... it is a piston engine! aka piston rings vs apex seals

i have seen a cummins 5.9 engine run for 700000 km

@halosux4life You obviously have no idea what you're talking about. Turbo rotaries have a better chance of losing seals than a naturally aspirated one. Three things cause the death of a rotary: Fuel starvation leading to detonation, Excessive heat or carbon derived hot spots causing detonation, and shitty tuning causing, you guessed it, detonation. If you can withstand these, its pretty damn bulletproof. An N/A one should last a long time...
