Peter Gabriel talking about the production of the millennium show and the LP OVO. I found this videos on emule, not in his page. Can somebody tell me if there is a DVD edition of OVO? i can't find it. i'm a big fan of Peter Gabriel and i'm thankful for his great contribution to the world, his work is inspirational for my own apprentice work. no, i don't have his permission but until they cut me off, see this first part of the video.

  • I worked on secondment from my day job in the Talk Zone, it was a fantastic experience and of course I got to see the show many times. Its such a shame that the media gave the Dome so much bad publicity, if it really was as bad as they said, why did 25,000+ people visit every day? Happy memories!

  • No way!!! thats great!!! do you have any videos?

  • So... now that we know that there is no video DVD of OVO, how can we ask Peter Gabriel to edit a video of it?, how can we suggest this? it was such a great work and, to me, it's a shame that there is no DVD...

  • This brought back some happy memories. I was one of the aerial performers in this show and I can honestly say it was one of the greatest 18 months of my life, the 6 months training and rehearsing the show and then 12 months performing.

  • I loved this show. I was living in Blackheath at the time, used to run past the Dome every few days in 98 and 99 and went twice. I saw the show twice, and finally got the sound track in 03. What stuck me about the Dome was the negativity of my English bretherin (and sisterin!) My land lady used to call it the DOOM. With an atitude like that it was doomed. I thought it was great. In my arrogance I thought that it would have been great in Australia, but now I realise we're just as negative.

  • @utubecircus i have made a dvd of the last show plus some other stuff plus some stuff from the party before the last night, as you will know it was a time we will never forget,

  • @Cornishmouse2 do u want me to send you the songs? I still have the soundtrack cd at home :)

  • the dome ROCKED!!!! We saw this show twice. It was the best part of it.

I loved the Journey Zone too even though at the time I'd never been anywhere!!!! I'd love to go back there now after all my travels!!!

I was 16 when we went there, cant believe it is 10 yrs ago

  • @bellajohn agreed i came to visit for the day i watched the show 3 times it was amazing! i had the soundtrack cd after but now i cant find it and im gutted :(

  • Sorry, no videos. From what I remember the Dome organisation was very strict on what could and couldn't be videod by visitors and the show was one of those that couldn't. But I guess someone somewhere had a full copy.

  • I was a BT volunteer who worked in the Talk zone - it was a fantastic experience. I will never forget the show which I saw many times. It will always be with me.

  • That's amazing!
