  • I've seen Mr. Lee do all and even more than this in the mid 1970's, and let me tell you, this is no joke.. What's happening is the oppositve of what you think. They and our real selves are infinite beings or spirits and and we focus amazing power into this hologram we call reality.

  • does any1 here practice HwarangDo?

  • one of America's most lethal warriors, Mike Echanis, was an expert in this art and supposedly had super natural powers. In the film the Men who stare at goats he was the basis on kilingl a goat by just staring at it.

  • Made a mistake. The arts that the Hwarang studied formed the basis for Hwa Rang Do.

  • Yes you are absolutely right. There's a form in both ITF and WTF with the name 'Hwarang' and you are also right in that it is a tribute to the Hwarang, but the form has nothing to do with Hwarangdo and does not include any HRD techniques or movements.

  • There is an hyung in ITF Tae Kwon Do called "Hwarang", which is in tribute to the Hwarang warriors. Hwa Rang Do was one of the arts taught to the Hwarang.

  • incredible ive just started kitraining in my hapkido class

  • I used to when I was younger.

On the surface it seems similar to Tae Kwon Do, but (in my opinion), much more practical and lethal.

There is heavier emphasis on "martial art" than "sport".

  • i come from karate . i have started to train in tai-chi and chi -kong. some of the breathing we do at chi -kong. master joo banfg lee is truly a graet master for al pepole in the martial arts. respect from egypt.

  • so this is the art that steve carell was saying in the movie get smart, lol. this is awsome^_^
