Each year, at the end of the spring semester, John Deere Golf and Coastal Equipment present a field day at Lake City Community College for the Turf Equipment and Golf Course Operations students. This year they demonstrated their hybrid 7500 E fairway unit with electric reels and computer diagnostics, as well as their hybrid walk behind (not released yet) and their 2500 E hybrid tri-plex greens mower. They also had their trim mower with side shift reels. In the classroom we got acquainted with the new Quick Adjust reel system. We closed the day out with a box lunch provided by John Deere Golf and Coastal Equipment
