No question about it, Barack Obama is calm, and he represents the look, feel, and intelligence of the American people. -The question is, when do we start ignoring what our candidates look like, and vote for street smart people who can actually accomplish something? Obama never balanced a checkbook or managed anything in his whole life, so he sought his business advisors on Wall Street... GREAT MOVE. Larry Summers, Robert Rubin, and Timothy Geithner are definitely champions of the middle-class.

Ok in Franti's defence, I'm sure he believed in Obama as much as most American's did when Obama was first elected. Most Americans voted for him because he promised change.  Unfortunately change never happened. If Michael Franti was to be interviewed now I'm sure he's views on Obama would be different... duh!
