Carry On My Wayward Son bass cover by Nick Valigursky

So I just bought a new bass and figured I'd give it a test run. The song is Carry On My Wayward Son by Kansas. The bass is a Squier Jazz Vintage Modified, and I am completely blown away by it. I always had an aversion to Squier instruments, as they had a pretty bad reputation for years, but this bass is truly fantastic. Anyways, since its a vintage style bass I figured I'd test it on an older song. It came out quite well, although if I were to record it again I'd probably mix the low end down a bit.

The bass is a Squier Jazz Vintage Modified recorded through a Roland Cube 30.

@PAVI259 You won't be disappointed. I was on the fence initially, but really the more I play it the more I absolutely love it. It is truly spectacular, and I'm not really sure why it is as cheap as it is.

@thunderthud1 It's a Roland cube 30, and I would agree, the tone is excellent on both the bass and the amp.

@NickValigurskyMusic Ya same, still havn't had anything bad to say about it. And ya it def is a real Fender lol :P But I love the white ones, I always see everyone with the black ones and first time I ever saw the white is when I went to go buy it lol. Thanx again man! Bassist's Unite!

@Rexworthy Thanks! Yea, I just got that bass a few days ago and I have nothing bad to say about it so far. I noticed you have a similar bass, but I'd guess yours is actually a real Fender. Have to say, the white fret blocks surprised me a bit, haven't seen those. Neat looking though.
