Nice review. That better not be a diss at King Noel Gallagher hahahaha. He is a great lyricist while being simple.... Though funny thing is Blur is my favorite band but I love them both. I'm going to check out more David Bowie

The "clicks" at the beginning is a film projector. By the end of the album the film runs out.

Ok..No it's just when you said I am a Blur fan you put a bunch of periods. I thought you meant that on the Oasis vs Blur feud you were on the Blur side. But really you didn't like either. (i looked to deep into it haha) Anyways Damon is my musical hero. Love like all his stuff Blur is better than Gorillaz ,Plastic Beach was a great record. My favorite Blur albums go in this order,maybe you'll agree...... Parklife, 13, Modern Life is Rubbish, Blur, The Great Escape/Think Tank (tied), and Leisure

Okay okay. I'll just argue for a third category- the old 'art rock' chestnut. I suggested this as it was effectively my entree to the world of eno/fripp. My crowd knew ziggy etc- the pop radio bowie, so when i heard this one i assumed it was all on fripp/eno for the odd diversions. It got me out of the rigid time signatures and motifs of bob seger et al americana. Thank you for the indulgence... As a grown up revisiting i do agree that the Ryko additions make for a better listen- but for me Sca
