My advice is find someone locally with huskies and ask if you can help with them a few weeks if you are serious about owning one, they demand lots of exercise and attention, when you ignore them you would be amazed at what they can chew up, anything from socks to sofas, we know someone who spent $2500 on surgery getting a plastic action figure out of their husky. You usually see them advertises for free 1 to 3 years old because they are no longer a cute puppy, never trained, and ate a couch.

Obviously not a popular statement, but true. I just keep mine tethered so she can't reach the sofa when I'm not in the room, they chew to punish you for ignoring them. Most of my socks are holey now. I don't think house training was any worse than other dogs, or their sniffing. And my brother's australian shephered eats cars, literally, anything not metal, if they park too close, and UPS packages. My belgian groenendale ate christmas bulbs and the liner from my jacket for ignoring her.

Sledding Huskies are awesome and I want to have a Husky then teach it basic commands and then teach how to swim

dogs shit everywhere and rip your really expensive sofas and chairs to shreds lol
i dont mind dogs but i hate it when they lick your face (most likly after sniffing and licking their ass or another dogs ass)
o and they all ways sniff your privates :P
