Why can't the Losties remember seeing each other in the past and future? Desmond totally should have remembered Faraday, but both of them didn't. Lost doesn't make sense half of the time, and I think something like Adam and Eve happened in the past while the Losties were time-traveling or stuck in 1977. When they crashed, they would be able to see the bodies because it hadn't happened to them yet, but it had happened in time. Make sense?

I seriously doubt that. Jack and Kate would be a totally random choice, and they are no where near the caves half of the time. They die and someone puts them there, and their past selves can see them? R-i-g-h-t.
Bernard and Rose make so much sense - they haven't been seen since the incident with the Swan station and they lived near the caves in their hut/house thing. Plus, hate to point out the obvious: Bernard is white (Jacob's color) and Rose is black (Man In Black's color).

@aprilgirl96 Well its still technically speculation. But in season 3 when Karl was in that subliminal message room from which Kate, Sawyer and Alex rescued him, theres is a voice in the video saying:
"Only fools are enslaved by time and space"
Which if 'anagramised' (thats not a word :P) can be made to spell:
"Bones of lost Nadlers may lay deep in cave"
Nadler is Rose and Bernards last name. Also Jacks analysis of when they could have died puts it around the right time.
