We used to go up from Pengegon side. Remember sliding rock near the castle and the one near the monument we used to call dodgem rock. Used to pee in it and watch the streams pour out of the lip. We were wild then. (late 1950's)

carn is a word common across all the Celtic languages. I too have willed that my ashes be scattered from there as have generations of my predecessors.

I love it there i live there, i have tons of fun going there with mates and bike riding, great place :)

i know which rocks you mean.me and my sister use to slide down the saucer rock when we was younger.some good hiding places up there.

i grew up there to.had loads of walks and bike rides up there.great fun.
I also grew up there & spent many days up at Carn Brae! I've been in Asia for the past 20 yrs thou!
