the very first halo was meant to be a RTS for the mac :)

I agree, RTS on consoles is kinda...awkward. The console was bred to play FPS and Combat games like Bloody Roar, not RTS.

looks cool but nothing really new, and playing strategy on console aint fun anyway, you dont have a mouse, no keyboard,... thats what the pc is for

its not really a strategy, but more just build more then they do.
