This is incredible. I also really like your shoe box ukulele. By any chance do you have a step by step tutorials or photos of the process for both the banjo and ukulele?

My saying is....Some cheap banjo and guitars and mandolins sound the best then the expensive ones

Very very nice video. I'm working on my first cookie tin banjo, but am crossing my fingers that it will be playable. I think your video was helpful.

Great Sound, great look!
I got a question: I also made one, but it sounds a lot less clear Banjo-like like yours. Do you have any tips on that? How can i make it sound better? And im not using a real bridge, its just a piece of wood. Will it propably sound better if i use a real one?

Hi, and thanks. I think the cutaway section of neck inside the tin and the panel I used to tension front and back make it sound a lot less guitar-like than usual, as does the thin bridge and the fact the the bridge is resting on the unsupported section of tin not in direct contact with the neck.

Man, great work! I've watched a million of these cookie tin videos and read info on sites about them until I was cross-eyed. Your design makes the most sense of everything I have read so far, especially the cross bracing on the inside. I'm doing a simple fretless one right now with wooden tension pegs as all 5 tuners, but I'm sure I'll get more elaborate as I go. Thanks again!
