@LapisLee It is. There is an interview somewhere on here where some of the members of Funkadelic straight out said they dug Jimi. So in reality it is not a Jimi song but it definitely was inspired by his style. Look into Eddie Hazel's work. He was amazing. Unfortunately he died a little too soon.

@LapisLee It's a great rendition...but it's not a Hendrix song. It's Maggot Brain by Funkadelic and it was released after Hendrix was already dead. This was a creation by Eddie Hazel and in a way was about him and all the drugs he was taking.
