Aljazeera interviews everybody... just like the FOX news interviews MP George Galloway :)

madrassa means school; so, is a school is opened what's wrong with that?

I do not believe that al Jazeera is interviewing Daniel Pipes. And I find it indredible that Daniel Pipes agreed to be interviewed by al Jazeera which he has accused of being a terrorist mouthpiece.
The fact is, building a school is a right and a responsibility for any community and the Arabs of New York City are no exception at all. Bring on the schools and let them teach all the languages they want to teach.

christopher hitchens once said that daniel pipes "employs the fears and insecurities created by Islamic extremism to slander or misrepresent those who disagree with him". pipes is a neo-conservative, a racist and a radical zionist. he studied arabic and islam as part the u.s. in its imperialist efforts to dominate the middle east and control the energy resources there.

According to an NPR story that was done earlier this week, there are public Hebrew and French-language schools in the US with plans to open up even more of them. I think it's a great idea.
Having a well educated student population is critical in this new world. America needs its citizens to be learning Arabic, Urdu/Hindi, Mandarin/Cantonese, Malay, etc. if it expects to prosper economically in the future.

nice!
Prof. Daniel Pipes speaks in terms of black and white while we live in a world defined by shades of gray. As such he is blind and what he has "seen" is more imagined than witnessed.
Here in the U.S. look at the hypocrisy:
Radical Jews = Zionists
Radical Christians = Evangelicals
Radical Muslims = Terrorists???
Hmmmm... seems to be a break down in logic.
