We want Gaza free

I wrote this song a few weeks after the murder of 9 human rights activists by the IDF on the Freedom Flotilla on 31 May 2010. Even though the blockade of Gaza has been eased, there is still a humanitarian crisis going on, and people are dying daily due to lack of clean drinking water or medical equipment. This needs to end and the people of the world must let their voices be heard.

If hamas would stop shooting at civilian targets, there would be nood need for an embargo and a closed border. Besides that, the IDF is not in Gaza itself. So they are free already, with their own choosen government.

As long as their fighters will fire rockets on schools in Israel, the arabs of Gaza have to live with the consequences and stop crying about it on television.

@jekke1980 As long as people in Gaza are being shot at by the IDF if they even come close to the border, farmers are being shot when they harvest on their land near the border, fishermen are being shot in Gaza's waters, people die in ambulances because they are held up at checkpoints the people of Gaza have the right to defend their borders.

That you first mention an embargo and closed borders, and in the next sentence say that they are free already is of course contradictary.

I agree that gaza should be free, but don't say that Israel is the only one who kills. And i don't think the 'zionist-state' is a mistake. i think the acting of the zionists is wrong, not their intention.

@pallywoodlies don't you have a better argument then coming up with jew hater? Someone who talks about the fourth reich here, obviously says that the nazis were bad, and the zionists are just as bad. Hiding behind the antisemitism argument is one of the dirty tricks from the zionists, but that doesn't work, because there are also Jews who are against zionism.
