Food Stamps Rant

I feel there needs to be something done about our foodstamp program..People are abusing the system and being unhealthy foods which lead to childhood obesity and other problems...I'm just touching up on this subject in my own Tajha way

Your story about the grocery store reminds me of when I used to be a cashier at a grocery store and we had a woman come through the line and buy about $1000 worth of groceries and paid for it all with her foodstamp card! Now there are times when people genuinely need help such as the town I used to live in where the economy has gotten so bad my friend has been out of work for several years and without food stamps he would starve.

I think they should do away with food stamp cards period. I you need govt assistance then you can show up once e a week and you will be given the food you need. NO more cards because they buy candy bars, chips, soda, crap!!!. This will never happen because food stamps equal votes for the democratic party. The democratic party takes advantage of poor people by using a food program that is dangerous to the recipients health and bad for America. These poor people are taken advantage of.

@xxWizDumbxx How is she sterotyping if it is true?She observed this,along with about 1 million other people who have jobs,pay taxes,and we see this daily.When she works, shops smart and uses a budget,you know the rommin noodle budget,She does get to judge!The facts are this:She observed this activity.She should have walked outside and seen what type of car they got in.If she was white,u'd be saying she is racist, and race has nothing to do with it.At least she can call it like it is.
