Colon's (6'0" 185 lbs. Corona, CA, Canyon High School) 10th inning at-bat against UCLA Junior RHP Gavin Brooks. May 16, 2009, at Steele Field at Jackie Robinson Stadium.
Colon would go on to be drafted in the first round (4th overall) of the 2010 Major League Baseball first year player draft by the Kansas City Royals.
@Clintonde This video was actually taken during Colon's sophomore year, the summer before he broke his leg playing for Team USA (2009). Despite the broken leg, he was still named Baseball America's Summer Player of the Year.

@canogasnow - he was coming back from a leg injury during this time, was probably under strict orders NOT to sprint.. btw, he still made a 2b out of it.. no complaints from me

The Royals just drafted him. Not a lot of hustle out of the box on this at bat. Here's to an outstanding Royals career.
