  • awesome

  • @underwwraps2 You obviously got his project with the once brilliant Amon DüüL:"Die Lösung" from 1989.

Slighgtly disappointing stuff ,"Adranalin Rush" exempted.

In my humble opinion, after his brightest period from '71 till '78,Calvert was a burnout, and sadly ejected too soon. His 80's stuff is simply not up to the "Lockheed" standards ☆ΞΞΞΞΞ✈ ▌

  • THis has been re-released as part of a Hawkwind Package and remastered but I prefer this original. I think its basically Hawkwind

  • @porridgeisnice whats the connection between doc n the medics and hawkwind i have never heard this before?

  • @CheeseBurnerCymraeg And there is also Freq. Brilliant album

  • Didn't Lemmy play bass on this track?

  • i went to the Tunnel club for Bob Calvert's family fund raiser shortly after he died, the Starfighters and Hawkwind were supposedly playing. now it may have been the drugs but i recall about 30 people there and by midnight no bugger had set foot on stage.

must have seen hawkwind or the starfighters 30 times in the 80s, fantastic bands.

  • @CheeseBurnerCymraeg

I have the all of Calverts records (vinyl/cd) and his hype novel he wrote in 1981. I also have the hype LP autographed by bob himself. That's only s gist of my whole collection....

If you ever want to talk Calvert, message me.

  • have this on vynel and cd ace

  • As well as the two albums already mentioned, there is Hype, TestTube Conceived, In Vitro Breed, many live LPs as well!
