CHADOR

CHADOR is modern dance for female dancers and orchestra. It is collaboration between choreographer, Sheree King, and composer, Lou Warde. The following is a review of the 1996 premier:

"Chador exuberantly and delicately demonstrated the oppression of Muslim women. The controversial theme only intensified the mystery of the dance. Sheree King, choreographer and artistic director of the concert, exceeded outstanding with the dances choreography, lighting and costumes. Lou Wardes original orchestral score was chilling and poignant. The dance was undoubtedly the highlight of the show."
