@spacejesusadventure why would you assume that because it has a "Mc" in the surname? There are Irish surnames that begin with "Mac" Macnamara as an example are they Scottish? No and using the Mc, Mac tag is unreliable. Clan MacFarlane claims descent from the original Earls of Lennox in Scotland its a scottish clan and name not irish.
