Lotus Outreach is supporting access to education in for rural girls in Mewat, India by providing daily bus transportation to 100 girls who are unable to commute to school by foot. This project (Blossom Bus) would not be possible without the deep trust we have earned from local villagers across the district in the course of our Right to Education advocacy work. Before our work began in Mewat, most adolescent girls were married with children by the age of 13.
