First real world testing of AEO's new 8 blade impeller for 30mm and 40mm EDF units. It has been mounted in a J-Power/Skyangels 50mm EDF jet for testing. Flown on both 3S and 4S for demonstration of performance levels.

It's important to note that a tail pipe or exit nozzle has not yet been added so I expect eflux to increase when I do so.

This rotor rocks! :-))

  • Did the fan come fairly balanced?

  • @RCB0B yes, they are close to balanced but like all these injection moulded items -they are not perfect.

  • hahaaa nice video Nitro, entertaining :) as Lithonion said, they simply just don't fly right till they have a bit o epoxy in em ;p

  • Nice plane Nitro, It took all that glue to make it a good flyer. And whats up with that light pole. Everyone knows there is no electricity down under. :-P I think you hit the only light pole.
