David Bowie Gets Annoyed

David Bowie is the consumate gentleman when it comes to interviews and a true professional on the stage. But even he can get fed up sometimes... here's a few clips showing him doing just that and where the interviewers get owned by the master.

Bowie is reknown for being a little difficult but when you see why he's answering the way he is, you'll understand why. Many interviewers would ask silly & personal questions especially in the 70's & he's just not the sort of guy to put up with it. When an interview is fun he's incredibly charming and witty.

I just wanted to show he's human and show how tiresome some interviews are. And as has been pointed out; these clips are the only ones I could find out of the thousands of hours and 40 years of Bowieness, where he's a little fed up. Not bad going Mr Bowie.

lol.  Because he was annoyed. ;) No. I think the sound on that song wasn't going too well. I haven't seen the whole concert but it sounds like the band were not quite gelling with the material and on other nights he had voice problems. But this clip seems like he got annoyed with the band. I don't think he enjoyed this tour and things came to a loggerhead.

If you knew anything about David Bowie then you would realize that this video is 7 minutes and 15 seconds footage of a person who gave thousands of interviews! All these interviews together may be hours and hours long - and most of the times he IS polite - so what about these few minutes were he got angry? He is only human! And by the way, I know these interviews were he was oh "so rude", and most of the times the interviewer's questions were quite dumb actually!

Normally Bowie seems to keep himself hidden away through layers and personalities, that at times he doesn't seem human or capable of human emotional outbursts. However he does a brilliant job keeping himself calmish while letting the interviewer know there crossing a line. He is human and is entitled to mistakes and emotions :) I'm sure he has the ability to really throw a fit if he wanted to..

@DulBeat Who, the guy in the blue suit? I've never seen a reporter be that unprofessional or that much of an asshole before. It's like he just kept going in on him insulting Bowie over and over for no reason and felt absolutely entitled to do so. It really says alot about how decent a person Bowie is that he stayed mellow through that bullshit. I hope the reporter went home, looked at himself in the mirror and felt like absolute shit for doing that.

And lost his job later.

Hell, everybody has days where they just aren't in the mood for bullshit, and in some of the instances in this vid, the hostile reaction the reporters got were entirely warranted. Funny stuff when he tore up the journalist's paper. Honestly he handled the mom question way better than I would have, I would've let loose a string of expletives that left the interviewer in tears afterwards.
