[Sinbad] I Don't Believe That Anybody Feels The Way I Do About You

It was 2 years on the 11th of June since I lost my beautiful boy Sinbad. This song was always one that reminded me of him.

Regency Sinbad was a 15hh Welsh Cob D X Anglo Arab gelding. My mother bought Sinbad when he was 8 and had many happy years riding and competing him. They did a bit of everything but long distance riding was their forte and have even done 150 miles in 3 days in their time. They made an absolutely fantastic team and my mum trusted him with her life. Sinbad was a total nutter but you really couldn't find a horse like him. I grew up alongside him and grew to love him more than I ever thought was possible. He was sweet and gentle and had a huge heart with a character to match. He was one of the friendliest horses you could find and never failed to put a smile on my face. I used to spend hours just sitting with him in the field, feeding him bits of digestive biscuit or Doritos or his old favourite; Polos.

Sinbad passed away at the age of 33 very suddenly and without warning in the early hours of the 11th of June. It was a huge shock and both my mother and I were devastated to lose a horse who was such a huge part of our family and who had given us so much.

I will never, ever forget Sinbad. There will never be another horse like him and I can thank him for so much. He was a huge part of my life. I loved him to pieces and always will. It'll never be quite the same now he's gone but he truly did live his life to the full, right up to the day he died. He was a legend and always will be.

@nasss15 He died of old age. We suspect a heart attack as he died very suddenly and without warning. He was 33 years old which is very old for a horse. He lived a very long and happy life.

That was beautiful, i can tell you loved your horse very much, he was lucky to have such a caring owner, i work with animals, and they need us just as much as we need them. A lovely tribute thanks for sharing.
