240sx s13 ka24e-t Jared Thompson Drift Test

This s13 is a ka24e-t that was assembled and tuned by Zankoku Performance in Santa Rosa, CA. Jared Thompson is driving in the paddock at Infineon Raceway drifting in 2nd and 3rd gear. This is the first time Jared had driven his car in almost a year (the duration of the tear down/ build up of the "KA25E-T" bored out to a 2.5 liter.)

your pro am with a welded diff?

@SR20tony Yes, for 2 years now. 90% of the cars I compete with in ProAm have welded diffs. It is the most common diff setup around: super cheap and reliable.

ahhhh i wanna drift... ive been spending along time building my ka24e-t and it still isnt on the track yet.... what do you recomend for tunning and ecu ? i just have the stock ecu with e prom tuned and safc II what do you think ?

@wmikey11 Yes, all of the pistons will crack and you will loose compression very quickly. That is why you have to spend thousands of dollars to build the engine appropriately for the application. The main thing is running forged pistons or like I said, you will have big problems immediately (this is assuming that you are drifting and using a lot of full throttle and high revs).
