This video is a lil different from the rest. I decided to put this together in an attempt to bring more attention to this song. Thank you Kidz in the Hall, Talib Kweli, & Bun B for doing this.

Please go to http://www.barackobama.com and http://www.myspace.com/hiphopforobama and get involved.

  • and btw all u democrats inside bickering is doin nothin but allowin mccain to walk away with the win, why do u think hes meeting world leaders when the rest are still campaigning, u peoples blind faith in the 2 party system is the problem until we realise we dont have to let them tell us who to vote for, we're all fucked

  • I'd actually consider myself an Independent who leans Democrat. I agree that a 2 party system is a problem, but I also recognize that a politician from a 3rd party doesn't have much chance of becoming president *yet*. I suspect Ron Paul considered that too when he decided not to run as a Libertarian or some other 3rd party. I don't understand how you criticize the 2 party system, yet you support somebody who ran for one of those 2 parties' nomination. Care to explain?

  • u watch a video with that phony admmiting to being a part of cfr and u cant even admit it to urself, iu still dont see anyone else sayin u know what blunts it looks to me like hes sayin hes not cfr. and im the crazy one for voting ron paul, a man who actually itterates the changes he has in mind, and speaks to the people openly and intelligently about them. show me prof that obama is more than empty rhetoric

  • I didn't see Barack admit to being in the CFR. That's what you saw. That's what you wanted to see. I never said you were crazy for voting for Ron Paul. It's your right to vote for whoever you want. I just don't understand why you think he's still making any legitimate attempt to compete.

As for proof he's more than empty rhetoric, watch any of his speeches, read one of his books, watch an interview of his, and above all, keep an open mind.

  • they call me the politiacal rapper even after i telle em i dont fuck with politics, i dont even follow it, talib kweli The beautiful struggle, i think ill choose the content of his entire catalog over one verse oin some bullsht

  • Nice. You're choosing a line he wrote in 2006 instead of the words he said in 2008. Try searching here on youtube for "obama talib kweli." He's done a few interviews about why he supports Obama. If you watch those and still feel like he isn't supporting him, I'm not sure what to to tell you.

Again, Talib was an admitted skeptic about the whole political system, much like yourself. He changed his mind. You can too.

  • BUN B is whats real, and when he runs he has my vote

  • obama is ok

  • GODDDAMM kweli!!! i love that rapper.

  • I agree homie 100% change has to come from within from everybody. No one person can expect things in their live to change if their not not willin to do it themselves. I think one of the best things about president Obama being in office is because of who he is more racism will be exposed in areas of our society that need to be dealt with. America generally as whole runs on a business as usual pace that needs to change if change is going to come.

I don't agree with the Trained ape remark because race has nothing to do with how he is as a president. I agree that George W was a terrible president in his second term but so far Obama has done nothing to resurrect the country. Our schools are better, our healthcare situation is not the answer, our economy is not getting better, and taxes on the middle class only makes me more pissed off.

  • @itsjimmy2009

somebody had to speak the truth. Obama sure hasn't. He made promises but how many americans can say that anything he has said has helped their lives. He makes the state of the union address and the next day he is out at practice with the Lakers. What kind of president is that?

  • They don't gove a shit Bill they are all looking for some celebrity idol to worship so that they can dump all their problems on some puppet while they sit on the couch and eat cheeseburgers. The system is to blame partially but the inner city is also fucked up because the people are too busy washing their SUV's for the club. Obama bombed Pakistan a few days after being in office but hey he's black so they use selective observation and pretend like their assholes don't hurt.

  • Dumb rappers.. Barack Obama is smart but what can one man really do in a society where the money makers are the ones running things

  • SUCKERS!!!
