Remembering What Happened

This is a picture presentation I made of Jonestown November 18th 1978. I first learned of Jonestown a few months ago, and it was moving to me. I studied this horrible tragedy, watched the film "Jonestown: The Life and Death of Peoples Temple" (awesome movie), and read Deborah Layton's book "Seductive Poison" I made a movie about this because I want my others to know how horrible this event was, and to know that I personally care for all of those who died that day. If you have any corrections that need to be put in the vid please let me know. Personal input is always good too. :)

Despite the sentimental music, this video is crap. It completely ignores the true story, the inevitable self destruction that resulted from People's Temple fanatical, violent, Marxism. Listen to the actual tapes of what went on there.

This is an "In Memoriam." A tribute. It's meant to be brief and to the point. And all the other comments here considered, I'd say I WAS true to the story. Possibly off in a detail or two, but that's all. You want long drawn out facts about the story (I know this may be difficult for you to grasp, but do your best) - DON'T LOOK UP AN "IN MEMORIAM" VID. I would have thought that would be common sense, but some people are evidently lacking in that department.

I listened to the entire last minutes on one posting....very creepy.....I know that he's suffering in Hell for what he did/what he believed.....geez, he had everyone drink poisoned kool-aid or had followers shot....what does he do? Self inflicted gun shot to the head......wasn't man enough to face what he did and probably too scared to want to suffer the same as his followers so he took the quick way out...what a total a**hole......

May the people rest in peace!! You are to be commended Austinatious88 for your acknowledgment in this beautifully produced tribute. Indeed, we need to arm ourselves with truth. That said, no credible evidence exist re the people drinking laced Cool Aid. Significant evidence exist that they were murdered. ("Evidence of Revision" Part 5). Though they'd practiced mass suicide, when an actual situation arose, no one wanted to participate. They were injected with cyanide, shot, or strangled.
