The bible says the Earth is round? it does? where? It does say the earth is a circle or disk neither of which is round. Why the hell would all snow flakes be the same? The old painting and painter bs? are you serious? Why do you morons insist on comparing living things to inanimate objects? Of course there is a painter, watch maker building contractor, that DOES NOT prove the existence of a god. Because you can't grip the science does not mean it is wrong either.

Wow. I've definitely found it. The absolute worst video on YouTube.
Thanks for wasting six minutes of my life.
EPIC FAIL

This is correct, science is based on a scientist establishing a legitimate theory, this theory is then presented to the scientific community who then test it to see if they can disprove it, if the scientist is indeed a professional they themselves, they will also try to disprove their own theory. Certain parts of evolution have been proven to occur, this does not indicate it is the absolute truth, and nobody says this is so, but to trivialise it into this mockery? shame..

Oops typo! "is Religion is absolutely sure it's right"
-
@GLBTsovereign Besides, religion isn't about 'being right'; it's about 'being okay with how wrong everyone else is, giving them a chance to be as right as you are (or for you to consider the speck-of-a-possible-chance that maybe YOU might be wrong ... but probably not)' - we non-atheists thank you, GLBTsovereign, for granting our mortal brains the help to find where our ways meet & lead to the kingdom.

This video lacks any clear focus. Is your beef with people who claim the Bible encourages hatred and intolerance? People who object to religious people attempting to shove their ideology down peoples throats or to evolution? You claim to have read the Bible and say it does not encourage tyranny, it does however advocate murder, gang rape, slavery, homphobia and infanticide. As for the evolution thing, just because you dont understand or aren't willing to does not make it any less true.

@rms3 Thanks! Approval on this video is rare indeed! (second only to my Five People You Meet in Hell video) No, I don't get discouraged really. The hate is truly amazing, isn't it? Warn someone of danger and you're full of hate according to these people. If we were wrong (which we're not) what would be the cause of the hatred? If a child warned you not to step on a crack because it would break your mother's back, you'd smile to yourself but would you hate him for it?

@pennylaneproductions Thank you for making this incisive video; its very clever and yet profound; I really enjoyed the crack about the lifeboat directions being called hate speech. Speaking of which, are you astounded sometimes at the hate and vitriol in some of the comments by unregenerate people who see this video? Does it discourage you?
The difference between Religion and science is science is absolutely sure it is right and uses symbols to deomnstrate this. Symbols are for the symbol mnded who do not wish to use their brains. Science on the other hand states a theory and then tries to disprove that theory over and over until it is fact. that is why science will lead us to the answer far quicker than any bullshit book of any religion.

@WolfhamWolverine Science cannot explain the origin of life and any honest scientist knows this.

What is the music used in this clip? I've heard it before, but I've never been able to figure out what it is.

@aridchicken I should have put in the box, sorry! It's from Tchaikovsky's score for Romeo and Juliet. It was later covered by Emerson, Lake and Palmer (a pretty tight version, look it up)
