Policy action on climate change remains politically gridlocked in the United States and throughout the world, while polls show that Americans remain divided about both the causes of climate change and the urgency of the problem. Are you concerned about climate change, and what can your generation do about it? Continue the discussion at theamericanforum.org. American University School of Communication and WAMU 88.5 FM's live broadcast of the American Forum: The Climate Change Generation drew over 200 students who took advantage of the opportunity to question panelists and assert their own thoughts on how well the news media have covered the topic. Moderated by Jane Hall, Associate Professor in the School of Communication. Panelists include: Juliet Eilperin from the Washington Post, Matthew Nisbet PhD, Assistant Professor in the School of Communication, and Kate Sheppard from Mother Jones Magazine.
