He plays a character called Cpl. Chuck Fedderson (thanks imdb!). He doesn't appear in the trailer i think.

Any of you ever heard of Hamburger Hill? 'Cause I was wondering how both Hills got named after the cooked meat.

Actually Pork Chop Hill was named after its resemblance to a pork chop when depicted on the topographic maps used by officers in the fields. Actually it was Hill 255 before having the name changed to Pork Chop Hill, because of its contour lines. You might be thinking of Hamburger Hill in Vietnam that was named because they were "Chopped up like hamburger meat" while taking the hill.

Some M1 carbines can been seen in the initial battles in 1950 mainly with the 24th ID. But my 1953 alsmost all US units had M2s.
