One thing I find refreshing about this speaker from Serious Games is that he is honest about the other games he plays. That's HUGE because, quite often, people are so into their own things that they won't admit they like what the competition has to offer. The marketplace is so huge that no one should think this way anymore. The right game mechanics can open up new doors for selfless, authentic start-ups everywhere...

Most of the discussion of the web platform for games starts at 47:00. The earlier parts of the talk are interesting as well, but mostly focused on changes in the game industry and defining the idea of serious games.
