Miranda: nat?
Nat: Miranda? What are you doing here?
Miranda: I should ask you the same thing!
Nat: (smiles through his tears) I asked first.
Miranda: I asked second (sticks her tongue out)
Nat: (smiles) honestly what are you doing here?
Miranda: I just come by here a lot to think
Nat: what about?
Miranda: different things. What are you doing here? (glances at her watch) at 2 in the morning? Crying?
Nat: (wipes his tears on his sleeve) nothing. Just hanging out
Miranda: what happened?
Nat: she dumped me!
Miranda: Rosie?
Nat: yeah.
Miranda: she doesn’t deserve you
Nat: she dumped me. (crying again)
Miranda: why?
Nat: she thought I was cheating on her with you
Miranda: why did she think that?
Nat: I walked you home and gave you my jacket. And I gave you the necklace for your birthday(Miranda’s hand instantly jumped to her throat, clenching into a fist around the silver cord wrapped around the amethyst.) and Sari told her that Thomas told her that Qaasim told her that I said you were hot (his hand clamps over his mouth)
Miranda: (grins) you think I’m hot?
Nat: (sighs)
Nat’s thoughts: no use in lying
Nat: yeah.
Miranda sits down next to him
Miranda: thanks.
Nat: for what?
Miranda: (shrugs) the necklace I guess?
Nat: (smiles) you’re welcome.
Miranda leans in and kisses Nat-
Just as Rosalina comes back to apologize
Rosalina: (crying) I knew it!
Nat: (pulls away) ROSIE!
She turns away and runs back to Allie’s house
Nat: ROSIE!!!
He gets up and tries to follow her.
Nat- where r u?
Sari- Allie’s house. y?
Nat- I need 2 talk 2 rosie
Sari- good. Maybe u can talk sum sense in2 her.
Miranda: Nat!
Nat: (annoyed and angry) what?
Miranda: (bites her lip) I’m sorry. I didn’t mean- I just thought that-
Nat: it’s fine (hugs her) I have to talk to Rosie.
He runs off.
Rosie finally gets back to Allie’s house
Allie: hey. (notices Rosies expression) what happened?
Rosalina: (crying really horribly) I caught him kissing Miranda
Sari: WHAT?!?!?
Rosalina: I broke up with him, then I felt bad because he looked so hurt and when I came back, they were kissing!
Tears were streaming down her face but she didnt bother to wipe them away
Allie: I cant believe he would do that!
Rosie: me neither. I have to use the bathroom
She walks into the bathroom
Sari: Allie, whatever you do, dont answer the door.
She locks the door.
Allie: ok?
There’s a knock on the door
Allie: whoah! How did you know?
Sari: (sighs) Nat texted me asking where I was. He said he needs to talk to Rosie.
Allie: why did you do that?!?!?
Sari: I thought Rosie was being unfair. But now I guess she’s right.
Allie: now what do we do?
Sari: turn on the tv. Don’t tell Rosie he’s here
They hear a flush.
Rosie: hey guys. Whatcha watching?
At the Hospital
Doctor: He’s fine. He just needs some time to calm down
Kelsi: where is he?
Doctor: in there (points to room) but you’re not- hey!
Kelsi ran in and locked the door behind her so the doctor couldn’t come in
10 minutes later
Jazlyn: whered she go?
Alex: that way. (points to where kelsi just ran in)
