The European battle ready swords feature in the video are have a hammered and blackened iron pommel and guard welded to a hefty steel blade. The grip is padded with leather and wire wrapped. Oriental versions have a smoother darkened tsuba and end cap and feature the same great leather and wire wrapped handles. Each of these full tang battle ready weapons has been crafted by hand with the blade made from a single thick rigid piece of steel that extends the length of the blade through grip with heavy welded guards and pommels. These weapons are durable and suitable for stage battle and reenactment fighting.

I actually bought one of these stage steel swords. Not sure if this applies to all of their swords, but the one I bought has the handle hammered flat. I don't like the feel of the grip, is there a reason why the handle is flattened?

AWESOME! I just bought a real sword myself! It's a replica of Anduril from the Lord of the rings movie and it's not a fake! $350 bucks for it! I totally wanna try it like this!
