  • That was so beautiful! You have such a lovely house, and piano.

  • Thanks for listening. How's it going?

  • I'm not saying that you played it incorrectly, the rhythm sounds excellent, that's why I said that it was sounded mechanical. And I don't really care what how some book told you to play it, if you don't want to sound like a robot try applying what you feel is the right tempo in each part.

  • I posted a new recording of May by Tchaikovsky today....

  • Well I don't think thats quite how it should be interpreted. A lot of it sounds mechanical, get more emotions in there Try to think of May when you're playing this. Nature is blooming, that's why on the first page of the piece you want to play slower, and start the second page faster. You show no progression. There needs to be a development, most of Tchaikovsky pieces are like stories, they start out slow and grow to a climax and then descend.

  • But I will agree that I thought the first pass through the A section was a bit "boring" and that the return was more musical. I had a hard time with this one musically. The melodic line in the B section really struck me as rather bizarre.

  • Nice playing!

  • You play the notes well... But you didn't play the music

  • @MaryRuth72 Much Better :) (Forgive my grammar on the previous post, I don't know what happened.)

  • i love how you playy...also like ur dogg!!! :)

  • And Dog :)

  • Would you say this song is easy/intermediate or intermediate/hard?

  • the way you are able to maintain absolute perfect tempo as the marking has indicated is admirable. But sorry to say so, but it is a bit mechanical and more expression is needed. You don't have to obey any particular interpretation of some famous pianist (like the one you disliked), however, it is quite necessary to play this piece as a musical story. (As the way you see it, of course)

  • I'm trying to play this song, and you lay it much better than I do. When I play it, it sounds really bad, and my playing sounds nothing like yours. I think the second half of the 2nd page and the third page sounds a bit weird when I play it. When you play it, its sounds melodic. Thanks for enchanting me with the lovely, wonderful Tschaikovsky. I think Tschaikovky i my favorite composer because he wrote many ballets, so he writes graceful music. All his songs are graceful. Thank you for the music
