  • Amazing...this opening is double the length of the current one. Actually waiting until someone makes it to Contestant's Row? wow! What a concept. The new open has no pazzaz. This one really conveys the feeling of the show...Come to think of it, the new one does too...Rushed. That's how the whole show feels now...rushed.

  • R.I.P. Rod Roddy

  • When Rod Roddy died, the ratings tanked. When Bob Barker left, the show was nearly in ruins. Good thing Drew Carey is hosting the show today. If Rod was alive, would CBS have made him the next host? That's a question that never will be answered. RIP Rod, you were the best.

  • this was my favorite set.... i hate the squares/checkerboard design they have now

  • @TheJamesgordon43 Save for Rich Fields saying it in the video games for the Wii.

  • RIP Rod Roddy!

  • @trueblue4ky well prove it to me...besides the only time you watch price is right is when your at the doctor's office or have the day off its the same sad format for nearly 40 years.

  • @mlrobins2 uh... you are talking about the MAN. Plus Mike Richards is HORRIBLE.

  • It's a bit poignant listening to Rod's announcing, as his health was already deteriorating at this point. For him to put as much energy as he could, all things considered says a lot about his dedication.

  • so glad bob is gone from this show. Nothing but horror stories of him as executive producer.

  • When did this episode air? I know it was between January 1, 2003 and February 3, 2003, but when?

  • @cstring420 Yup, they took out "television's most exciting hour of fantastic prizes" after season 37.
