@cmsdgeekadmin Yep, you definately got my point. Even with the »cheap strategy«... It took me like 3 weeks before I convinced my brother to get an armor with Zero Encounter Rate ability (incidentally, thanks for the corrections. Didn't know what the proper names were in english since I only own the german version).

@oblivion174 I see your point, I think. Just for clarification, "rage" is Berserk status, assuming we're talking about where the char attacks enemies at whim. And 0 Monster is the "Zero Encounter Rate" ability, I recall it's Enc-None in ff7, IDK what it is in FFX. Though I do say, that little strategem is as beautiful as it is completely cheap.

I remember my brother going crazy on the Malboro... He always went to the left in the beginning areas, and always at the same place he got surprised by a Malboro -> Bad Breath -> confuse and rage (dunno if it's called rage) -> He tried like a bazillion times before he got himself an armor with 0 monster ability (dunno if it's called 0 monster either, but I hope you get what I mean)

Maloboros and Demonoliths are easy if you know how.

I usually just put first strike on someones weapon in my party and just flee whenever a malboros would appear. Also for demonoliths, just use silence buster

Or just get stone, confuse, berserk proof armor.

MAL-boros. The monsters are called "Malboros". Not Marlboros.
